Friday Retreats
Helping owners turn dormant assets into productive income.
PropTech operating company. 25+ properties, Rs 500M+ AUM, 10–14.7% net yields. Two to three times what self-managers extract.
Visit friday retreats ↗A founder building the technology and the markets that broaden capital ownership in emerging economies. Ten years building. Five ventures. One book.

§ 01 · Positioning
"I build companies in the gap between regulated capital and the infrastructure most people can't reach."
Five ventures across ten years — two across fintech and capital markets (Aya Trades, Zunko), one in growth and creative technology (Aya Corp), one in PropTech (Friday), one in logistics (Munch).
The current chapter is Friday Retreats: 25+ properties, Rs 500M+ AUM, 10–14.7% net annual yields to owners — two to three times what self-managers extract.
The underlying play is FridayOS, the multi-agent AI operating system that runs the company — and is now becoming the second business.
§ 03 · Now & next
Capital ownership in Mauritius is the single biggest lever for economic mobility — and most Mauritians are locked out of it. Friday is how I'm closing that gap, layer by layer.
Helping owners turn dormant assets into productive income.
PropTech operating company. 25+ properties, Rs 500M+ AUM, 10–14.7% net yields. Two to three times what self-managers extract.
Visit friday retreats ↗The multi-agent AI operating system that runs Friday.
Five specialized AI agents, coordinator pattern. Module 01 (Guest Messaging) live at 90%+ first-draft acceptance across the portfolio. First external beta client onboarding now.
The financial layer. Robinhood-style retail trading for Mauritius.
Strategically paused June 2025. 4,000+ waitlist. FSC regulatory groundwork compounds into Friday's 2028 fractional layer. Zunko, paused but not abandoned, returns when the timing is right.
A regulated platform letting everyday Mauritians co-own real estate from a few thousand rupees.
The mission layer. Broadens institutional-quality real estate income to thousands — from the 25 families earning it today. Built on FSC regulatory groundwork laid through Zunko.
Selective consulting on growth, software, and capital strategy.
After shutting Aya Corp the company in Dec 2024, the brand lives on as a personal advisory shingle — taking on a small number of consulting engagements per year across MU, FR, UK, AE, US. Also active on Fiverr for shorter-form work.
§ 02 · Track Record
The pattern across all five is consistent — identify a structural gap, build, run, learn, compound into the next.
PropTech operating company. 25+ properties, Rs 500M+ AUM, 10–14.7% net yields — two to three times what self-managers extract. FridayOS first module live in production; full beta August 2026.
§ 03 · The bet that built the moat
Zunko hit a wall in 2023. Friday hit one in 2025. Two years apart, same lesson: running parallel companies meant nothing got the focus it deserved.
4,000+ waitlist. FSC regulatory work that became foundational. The lesson wasn't the product — it was that running three companies in parallel meant nothing got the focus it deserved. The technical foundation compounds into FridayOS. The regulatory work compounds into Friday's 2028 fractional layer.
Service quality dropped under operational load. Cash couldn't support more hires, and the underlying problem wasn't a people problem. Humans couldn't process the decision volume a growing portfolio generates without losing consistency. The conventional response is to hire harder. I built instead.
§ 04 · The current chapter
One of Mauritius's fastest-growing STR ecosystems. Owners earn 10–14.7% net annual yields — two to three times what self-managers extract — while every property is run by FridayOS.
§ 06 · Owner voice
Verbatim quotes from Friday Retreats property owners, collected April 2026 by direct request. Plus guest validation — 4.7★ across 297 verified Airbnb reviews.
Honestly I wasn't even thinking about short-term rental when I bought. My plan was long-term tenants, something stable and simple. Then I met Ishant completely by chance and that conversation changed everything for me. The income was more than I expected and I never had to follow up on anything. That reliability actually helped me get a second loan — the bank could see the rental income, consistent and documented, and they approved the financing for a second apartment.
I've been with Friday since basically the beginning. I had 5 properties with them at one point, sold 2, and the experience of selling those was actually one of the things that impressed me most. When you sell a property that Friday has been managing, you're not just selling an apartment — you have the income history, the reviews, the bookings already in place. One of my buyers literally said it felt like buying a business, not a property.
I started working with Friday when I was doing the interior design for my apartment before putting it on the market. They did a good job, so it felt natural to stay with them for the management side too. I really don't have to think about it. The property is taken care of, I get my statements, everything is clear. It's the kind of setup where you just trust it and move on with your life. I'm looking to buy again, and Friday will be my first call.
